What a fabulous restaurant this was. We got the combination platter and it was all incredibly wonderful. I usually don't like sausage but it had such a good flavor and it was not fatty. Count me in. The ribs were delicious the barbecue pulled pork with the sweet sauce was to die for and the brisket was pretty good. Homemade coleslaw rounded it out. Can't wait to come back

This off the beaten path restaurant is a hidden gem! Between the phenomenal brisket, smoked sausage, chicken, turkey, mac 'n cheese, and Mexican street corn, you can’t go wrong! The service was exceptional! You will not be disappointed!

As it was my first visit, I went with the server's suggestion of smoked salmon. It was moist and very good. The accompanying dirty rice had just enough spice to it. Service was very informative, and Natalia really sold me on the salmon when I initially would have chosen beef or pork. The restaurant is quaint with Texas nostalgia on the walls, high and low tables, tvs on mute & 60's rock playing at a great volume. One can still carry on a conversation if dining in. Outdoor tables with bright umbrellas accommodate more visitors. Really good food, I'd come again.

Been checking this place out and finally had to visit it's a self serve counter with limited seating the food was delicious the service was fast we both had the Saturday special prime rib my fave . And it was cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back

Absolutely fabulous monster beans are a MUST TRY ohhh so good. Had the turkey and brisket 2 meat combo everything was so fresh and tasted fabulous.

Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and cozy at the same time because of the decor and lighting in the place. I would suggest getting “burnt ends” if you like charred meat. One of the best ones I’ve had. The second next best in my opinion is the beef brisket. Everything was great except one negative: They ask if you want to pay by credit card or cash. Most people of course will choose credit card which I did as well. The lady at the register then put in a 3% surcharge without even telling me. I found out about later after I paid. I understand many places these days include the surcharge because of the rising prices from credit card companies. However, they still need to inform the customer about the surcharge so the customer can make the choice. I’m taking one star out because of this negligence otherwise the service overall is great at this place. This place is definitely worth a try

Unbelievable...best smokehouse I've ever been to. Everything I ate was incredible. Prime rib was perfectly done. Ribs were great. And the sides...Mexican corn, mashed potatoes, beans were great. Even their pickles were good. And OMG wait until you taste the bacon!!! I've gone back 3 times just for the bacon. Hell I think I'll go back again today. Thank you so much for doing what you do.

The absolute best beef brisket I have ever had and the beans I had with it were great also. When we left I was full as the sandwich was big to the point of over flowing. This hidden gem of a restaurant isn't very far off of I55 and absolutely worth a pull off of the Interstate. The walls were lined with cool advertising and the staff was very nice and helpful. We will be back!
